Belinda Neil is former police detective, homicide investigator and hostage negotiator who now is a strong advocate of raising awareness about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), which has personally affected her life. After her own journey, including being medically retired from the NSW Police in 2005, she went onto write a book Under Siege and today is the Director of PTSD Australia New Zealand, who operate Fearless (Fearless.org.au), a registered not for profit established to assist those living with PTSD to regain control of their lives. Belinda will discuss the serious topic of ‘The Politics of PTSD’.
